How we got our name:

Event-code is a line of code written into a software program that abbreviates an event, thus making it simpler to identify.


Our Story

There are many terrific companies that offer services or have developed exciting event planning software.  Rather than keep this information to ourselves, we will share it and help ensure that you have a successful event.  

As a corporate event planner for a major software company in Silicon Valley, I traveled all over the country setting up trade shows & seminars.  Prior to that I planned events as a Catering Manager for a large San Francisco hotel. I eventually left my career to stay home with our children while my husband traveled for work.  I  began volunteering and planning fundraisers for the kid's schools and local charities. I created Event-code so that moms who are professional event planners could continue to use their talents.
